We have big plans for the future and are looking for you as a Applications Engineer.

 

To support the company’s growth in sales providing technical and sales support producing the most commercially and technically attractive proposals within agreed KPI’s and manage orders from receipt to delivery.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Preparing technical proposals for SEEPEX pumping technology to satisfy customer specifications and provide them with all necessary technical support in accordance with company commercial guidelines and limits.
  • Provide timely, excellent customer service with technical support both internally and externally.
  • To negotiate potential orders with customers and review terms and conditions in accordance with the company’s guidelines.
  • Process and manage orders from receipt to delivery in accordance with contract review and company guidelines.
  • Maintain regular contact with existing and potential customers to identify and exploit new sales opportunities and provide them with all necessary technical support.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with other company departments.
  •   Provide support when necessary to external sales ensuring offers are followed up in line with departmental KPI's
  • Develop and maintain in depth knowledge of the industry sectors, applications therein and how SEEPEX products support these.
  • Provide feedback to any relevant company departments about complaints and problems to try to ensure that these do not arise in the future.
  • Apply a continual improvement philosophy and attitude to support the departmental IMS procedures.
  • Adhere to the company Health, Safety and Environmental policies

 

About You

  • HNC/D level qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering or related subject;
  • Strong technical skills
  • Research and analytical skills
  • Communication skills including the ability to explain clearly, listen to the feedback of customers – and relay this to colleague
  • The ability to negotiate with and influence others
  • Team working skills
  • Sales skills
  • Commercial awareness
