Job Summary

The Service Coordinator at Ingersoll Rand CTS is responsible for managing daily service operations, including staff scheduling and service administration. This role ensures the efficient deployment of the service team and supports the Service Manager in maintaining high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.

 

Responsibilities

  • Customer Interaction: Serve as the primary contact for customers regarding service activities, including repairs and maintenance.
  • Service Planning: Assess customer requests, estimate costs and time, and schedule maintenance activities.
  • Scheduling: Maintain and update the service schedule for Service Engineers, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
  • Monitoring: Track service activities, monitor progress, and take corrective action as needed.
  • Parts Management: Order and manage parts inventory, ensuring timely availability for service operations.
  • Administrative Tasks: Collect and verify timesheets and service reports, manage service orders, and handle invoicing and billing disputes.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit weekly forecasts, cost overviews, and other required reports.
  • Supplier Coordination: Maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts and services.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Promote improvement and aftermarket products and services to enhance customer satisfaction.

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Education: MBO+ education in Technology or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in service coordination.
  • Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, Siebel, Oracle, and other automated systems; strong communication and organizational skills; proficiency in Dutch and English (both spoken and written).
  • Certifications: VCA-vol certification.
  • Competencies: Effective team player, excellent communication and relationship-building skills, strong commercial insight, ability to multitask and handle high workloads, self-motivated with a willingness to learn and use initiative.

 

Reporting Structure

  • Reports to the Service Leader Benelux.
  • Supervises a team of 7-9 Service Engineers within a designated region.
