Job Overview:
We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Assistant Sales Manager to manage and grow our industrial sales operations across Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in channel sales (distributor management) and direct key account handling in the industrial sector.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  1. Sales & Business Development:
  • Drive sales targets and business growth across the assigned regions.
  • Conduct regular client visits, product presentations, and technical discussions.
  • Identify new business opportunities with OEMs, industrial clients, and institutional buyers.
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies in alignment with business goals.

2.      Distributor Management:

  • Appoint, onboard, and manage distributors for industrial products.
  • Monitor distributor performance, ensure order fulfilment, credit management, and inventory planning.
  • Conduct regular training and engagement activities for channel partners.

3.      Key Account Management:

  • Directly handle strategic accounts and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Understand client needs, offer suitable solutions, and ensure post-sales support and satisfaction.
  • Prepare and negotiate proposals, commercial terms, and contracts.

4.      Market Intelligence:

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
  • Provide actionable insights to the management for new product planning or pricing strategies.

5.      Reporting & MIS:

  • Submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales pipeline using CRM tools.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering. MBA will be an added advantage.
  • 5~7 years of experience in industrial/B2B sales, preferably in Gujarat and MP.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office.
