Job Overview:
Reporting directly to the HR Leader, this position will provide high quality HR support and coaching for Ingersoll Rand’s Compression System & Services Business. This role will serve as a valued business partner for the Operations managers and employees, while ensuring high-quality delivery and continuous improvement in areas such as Engagement, Talent Acquisition / Development, Culture, Diversity-Equity-Inclusion, Capability Building, and Organizational Effectiveness. The HR Business Partner will liaise and effectively coordinate with HR counterparts in the businesses and regions, and with colleagues in the HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to deliver the best HR support possible.
Responsibilities:
- Effectively partner with Operations & Engineering leaders to drive positive, business impacting change, aligning human resources programs and initiatives with strategic objectives and operating plans.
- Provides Human resource support and counseling to Shop floor (Hourly) employees, Supervisors and Engineers on a variety of programs and activities covering multiple HR activities and Initiatives
- Hiring of temp resource (end to end job) and coordinating with service providers for timely salary increase for temp resources for the entire region.
- Ensure POSH related compliance and provide support related to various activities related to Compensation & Benefits, Training & Development, Employee recognition, HRIS, community relations, etc.
- Dealing with Union, Managing Wage Settlement, Handling Grievances and ensure cordial relationship and Positive Culture (BBS, Near Miss, etc.)
- Ensure adherence to ISO, IMS and other various audit requirements
- Serve as a credible coach and confidante to these leadership teams, as well as a strong employee advocate.
- Develop and execute HR plans, processes, and programs aligned with business objectives, including organizational design, succession planning, talent management / talent acquisition, goal alignment, employee engagement and communications.
- Drive and enable cultural transformation to support Ingersoll Rand’s DE&I strategic objective.
- Serve as a performance coach for functional leaders to ensure each leadership team is highly effective in improving organizational capability.
- Partner with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition colleagues to attract, hire and onboard the best candidates as efficiently and effectively as possible.
- Coach and advise on appropriate total rewards strategies, programs, and tools to enhance organizational performance and employee engagement.
- Collaborate with other HR colleagues on sharing best practices and increasing the development and use of HR standard work.
Requirements:
- Master Degree in Human Resources
- 10-12 years of relevant experience in a progressive HR environment.

- Demonstrated expertise in building talent, engaging teams, driving culture change and strategic growth of businesses and organizations.
- Demonstrated success in creating an environment of trust with business partners where integrity is unquestioned.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with HR COEs and HR Shared Services teams.
- Excellent interpersonal, influencing and communications skills.
- Must have working experience of MS office & Success Factor.
Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements
- This position will be based at our site in Ahmedabad, with minimal anticipated travel.
