Job Summary

A Production Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience is a mid-level professional responsible for overseeing the end-to-end manufacturing process—from production planning and shop-floor execution to final quality inspection and outbound logistics

Responsibilities

· Production Planning: Creates and executes daily schedules to meet targets while optimizing manpower and machinery.

· Process Improvement: Implements Lean and Six Sigma tools to reduce waste, downtime, and manufacturing costs.

· Quality Assurance: Conducts rigorous in-process and pre-delivery inspections to ensure 100% compliance with client specifications.

· Inventory Control: Manages finished goods stock levels and reconcile physical inventory within ERP systems SAP.

· Dispatch Logistics: Oversees the packing, documentation, and coordination with transporters for timely outbound shipments.

· Safety Compliance: Enforces shop-floor safety protocols and 5S standards to maintain a hazard-free work environment.

· Technical Support: Leads root cause analysis (RCA) and troubleshooting for production bottlenecks or equipment failures.

 

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

Work From Office – Travel May Required.

Key Competencies

· Minimum 5 years’ experience with Diploma and 3 years with degree in Production roles. Experience in Rotary Equipment’s is a plus.

· Proficiency in engineering drawings, statistical analysis tools, and ERP systems.

· Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

· Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Production Management.
