 Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in advanced manufacturing engineering.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in advanced manufacturing technologies and methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and quality standards.

 

Role:

The Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Manager is responsible for leading the development and implementation of advanced manufacturing technologies and processes. This role focuses on optimizing production efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing product quality through innovative solutions.

Responsibilities:

  1. Technology Implementation:
    • Oversee the adoption and integration of advanced manufacturing technologies such as robotics, automation, and additive manufacturing.
    • Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve manufacturing capabilities and efficiency.
  2. Process Optimization:
    • Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
    • Conduct technical feasibility studies and validate new processes.
    • Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
  3. Project Management:
    • Manage engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring they meet quality, budget, and timeline requirements.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
  4. Quality and Compliance:
    • Establish and maintain quality standards and procedures for manufacturing processes.
    • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
    • Implement risk management and reliability principles.
  5. Vendor Collaboration:
    • Work with vendors to source materials and equipment.
    • Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships to support project timelines and specifications.
  6. Strategic Planning:
    • Develop and execute strategic plans for advanced manufacturing initiatives.
    • Align manufacturing strategies with organizational goals and objectives.
    • Monitor industry trends and advancements to keep the organization at the forefront of manufacturing technology.
  7. Resource Management:
    • Allocate resources effectively to support manufacturing operations.
    • Develop and manage budgets for advanced manufacturing projects.
    • Ensure optimal utilization of equipment and facilities.

    • Candidate must have the knowledge of the following machine.
    • Mazak Integrex I 200 & 300.
    • Doosan VMV
    • Mazak HMC 6000 and 68000.
