Position Summary:

The Human Resources Leaders is a key member of the Ingersoll Rand HR team responsible for driving company programs, processes, policies, guidelines and engagement activities at the site. We expect this individual to demonstrate ability to demonstrate Leadership and ownership mindset to execute goals in line with functional and site requirements. This individual should be communicative, approachable and lead by example to ensure engagement and development of employees at site.

 

Major Responsibilities:

  • Administer policies that balances the needs of the company's business objectives for the site.
  • Recruits and manages the recruiting process including Posting, interviewing and working with Talent Acquisition to ensure timely fulfillment of open positions matching the job requirements
  • Work with Contract vendors to meet the staff augmentation needs of engineering teams and frequent connect with vendors to build relations and resolve concerns
  • Ensure a smooth onboarding experience to new hires with adherence to standard IR on-boarding process and orientation
  • Implementation, administration, communication and employee education of company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure smooth implementation of Performance Management and Development Planning cycle of IR and educating managers on process steps and timelines
  • Develop and execute internal training programs in line with training calendar
  • Training and  Development for Engineering talent for technical skills and soft skills including TNI, budget allocation, program design, Enrollment and communication, training effectiveness/ feedback
  • Drive employee engagement at site which includes engagement survey events, engagement communications and action plan completion.
  • Delivering a great internal customer experience for site by listening and responding to employee queries. Managing employee grievance in line with organization policies and procedures
  • Drive site level DE&I initiatives in line with global and regional goals
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure site labour compliances and Also audit contract manpower supplier/vendor labour compliances on regular intervals and corrective actions are taken timely as identified.
  • Report out site level HR metrics on monthly/quarterly basis to provide decision support based on analysis
  • Work with HR operations team to ensure correct employee records and provide timely inputs on changes and timely inputs to Payroll.
  • Drive site engagement and innovation culture through reward and recognition programs
  • Coach site leaders and managers on critical issues impacting business and work environment
  • Plan and prepare HR budget and ensures expenditure within budget

 

Education/Experience/Skills:

  • MBA/PGDM with specialization in Human Resource Management
  • 10+ years’ experience of working in Human Resources function. Candidates with experience working in GCC environment will be preferred.
  • Experience in managing all general activities of HR
  • Exposure to managing and co-ordinating training & Development activities
  • Excellent verbal, written, listening and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proven organizational, multi-tasking, prioritization and follow-up skills
  • Ability to understand basic data, anaylse and have an eye for detail
  • Must demonstrate ability to own actions, take initiative and communicate effectively with local and global stakeholders using discretion and tact
  • Comfort with technology and strong ability to learn new systems
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
