Job & Division Summary: 

Engineering and design support of Industrial equipment such as compressors, vacuum pumps, blowers and subsystems.

Responsibilities

Main responsibilities include understanding project scope, design & selection of project specific equipment’s/components, Creation and PLM release of 3D parts/assemblies, 2D drawings, Calculations and technical documentation as per Ingersoll-Rand standards.

Work with project partners located in Europe to understand project requirements and execute with highest standards, On time Delivery and First Pass yield.

Industry Experience: Experience in oil & gas, chemical, power plant or other similar industries as a Product engineer, design engineer, project engineer, or similar roles related to Compressors, Blowers, pumps, turbines, generators or any rotating equipment.

Mandatory Skills

• 6+ Years of Hands-on experience in Design and engineering BOM release using PLM, large assembly drawings, data sheets and creation of P&ID
• 4+ years of CAD experience in Inventor and Vault is a must.
• 5+ years of experience in New Product Design and VAVE Projects (i2v-Innovate to value) of Industrial products and Rotating Equipment.
• Experience in interpreting Scope of Work and create a detailed project planning activities – Min 4+ year of hands-on experience.

Desired skills:

• Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement design improvements.
• Familiarity with Engineering Calculations and interpretation of analysis results to ensure robust designs.
• Experience of DFMEA, PFMEA, DVP&R, Problem solving skills and Design Gate processes.
• Ability to multitask and communicate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and clients.
• Good communication skills in English.

• Knowledge of standards such as API 619, ASME B16.5, Sec 8, Div 1& 2 is desirable.

Basic Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• 8+ Years of Relevant experience after graduation.
• Excellent communication skills
