Job Overview:
The Marketing Leader (Product Marketing) for the Power Tools Business Area will be responsible for designing and executing strategic marketing initiatives that fuel business growth, strengthen brand presence, and enhance customer engagement across industrial segments. This role requires close collaboration with Sales, Product Management, Operations, and Global Marketing teams to position Ingersoll Rand as a market leader in industrial-grade power tools.
We are looking for a dynamic, product‑focused marketer with strong ownership, and energy who can drive impactful marketing outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement annual marketing plans aligned with Power Tools for business objectives.
- Drive product positioning, value proposition development, and pricing strategies to improve market share.
- Design and execute integrated marketing campaigns across offline and digital channels.
Market & Competitor Intelligence
- Conduct industry research to track trends, competitive activities, and customer needs.
- Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and growth levers.
Digital & Content Marketing
- Lead digital marketing initiatives including SEO, SEM, social media, and performance‑based campaigns.
- Develop marketing content—brochures, videos, case studies, presentations, and sales enablement tools.
Product Launch & Stakeholder Engagement
- Plan and execute product launches, ensuring alignment across Sales, Product Management, and Global Marketing.
- Coordinate communication across internal and external stakeholders.
Campaign Performance & Optimization
- Track campaign KPIs, analyze performance, and optimize strategies for ROI.
- Manage marketing dashboards and prepare periodic performance reports.
Brand & External Partnerships
- Maintain brand consistency and leverage global brand guidelines and best practices.
- Manage agencies, creative partners, and vendors for marketing and promotional initiatives.
Events & Budget Management
- Support trade shows, exhibitions, and customer events to improve brand visibility.
- Prepare and manage the marketing budget effectively.
Requirements:
- Engineering degree (B.E/B.tech) is a must and an MBA in Marketing or equivalent degree is preferred. Degrees from Tier‑1 colleges are preferred.
- 15–20 years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably in industrial tools, manufacturing, or capital equipment.
- Strong expertise in digital marketing, branding, product marketing, product commercialization, and product positioning.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders.
- Proficiency in marketing automation tools and CRM systems.
- Business acumen with the capability to build a marketing roadmap.
- Ability to drive high‑impact, product‑focused marketing initiatives.
