Service Coordinator

Job Summary:

 To manage and coordinate the scheduling, planning, and execution of service activities for compressors and compressed air equipment while ensuring service efficiency, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and dispatch technicians for breakdowns, installations, and preventative maintenance.
  • Prioritize urgent service calls and manage service contract schedules and compliance.
  • Coordinate communication between customers, technicians, and the Service Manager.
  • Load and manage service, sales, and purchase orders on the ERP system.
  • Ensure accuracy of job cards, service reports, and invoice documentation.
  • Track inventory levels, reserve parts for jobs, process GRNs, and liaise with the warehouse.
  • Follow up on back orders, supplier deliveries, and discrepancies.
  • Maintain service history records and assist with warranty claims.
  • Compile and update weekly service performance reports.

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric / Grade 12.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a service coordination or service administration role.
  • ERP system experience (Oracle/Siebel/ Syspro).
  • Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills.
