Job Summary

Ingersoll Rand Global Engineering IT team is seeking a PLM System Administrator to support sustenance and maintenance support across Ingersoll Rand. The candidate work collaboratively with fellow System Administrators located in India & USA.

Responsibilities

• Installation, configuration, and support of Windchill environments

• Re-hosting (Cloning) Windchill environments.

• Supports daily operations including monitoring, alerting, troubleshooting, capacity management, provisioning, hardware and software configuration, patching, upgrades and performance monitoring/tuning Administers multiple systems including regular after-hour & weekend supports and 24x7x365 in a 99.999% uptime environment.

• Manage lifecycles, workflows, queues, security, roles, templates, etc. within the Windchill environment.

• Troubleshoots and resolves system problems, incidents/requests, ensure SLA adherence

• Works proactively to identify root cause and recommends/ implements preventative solutions.

• Adheres to global IT standards, policies and procedures and coordinate related activities with global IT teams.

• Work with vendor to troubleshoot issues and implement patches when necessary.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor or Master degree in Computer science (preferred) /Information Technology /Mechanical or Any stream  / Master in Computer Applications

5-7 years’ experience in administrating Windchill PLM systems.

Recent PLM administration responsibilities in a global design and manufacturing environment

Experience in PTC Windchill administration, cluster configuration, rehosting, and analyzing performance issues.

Experience working in Linux environment, Linux commands and shell scripting.
