Job Overview:

The Precision Fastening Specialist & Product Manager will be responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of Power Tools and Industrial Lifting product portfolios. This includes portfolio strategy, market analysis, product positioning, pricing, product launches, profitability management, demand forecasting, and business growth initiatives. The role will work closely with global product teams, sales organizations, engineering teams, and channel partners to drive revenue growth and market penetration.

Responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Commercial Excellence

  • Develop and execute go-to-market (GTM) strategies for Power Tools, Precision Fastening, Automation, Software, and Industrial Lifting product portfolios.
  • Define product value propositions, positioning, and messaging to improve market penetration and win rates.
  • Support business growth through value-based selling and solution-oriented customer engagement.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive products, and customer requirements to identify portfolio expansion opportunities

 

Solution Consulting & Application Engineering

  • Conduct technical feasibility studies, Proof of Concepts (PoCs), technology demonstrations, and customer workshops
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers on smart manufacturing, Industry 4.0, and connected assembly solutions.

 

Customer Success & Aftermarket Growth

  • Develop customer training programs to improve product adoption and customer satisfaction.
  • Build strong relationships with strategic accounts and support long-term customer retention initiatives.

 

Product Launch Management

  • Lead new product introductions and commercialization plans.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, supply chain, and marketing.
  • Ensure successful launch execution and adoption.

 

Product Portfolio Management

  • Develop and execute product strategies for Power Tools and Industrial Lifting solutions.
  • Manage the complete product lifecycle from concept to end-of-life.
  • Drive portfolio rationalization and identify product gaps based on customer and market requirements.
  • Maintain product roadmaps aligned with business objectives.

 

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements 

  • Travel 70-80% (As and When required)

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Diploma Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 15-20 years of experience in industrial products, power tools, lifting equipment, material handling solutions, automation, or manufacturing industries.
