Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented sales professional to drive business growth for Milton Roy & ARO product lines across the East region. The role involves channel management, key account development, and business expansion across industries such as Chemical, Water Treatment, Power, Steel, Pharma, Food & Beverage, and General Industries.

The candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, developing customer relationships, supporting channel partners, and identifying new business opportunities for metering pumps, dosing systems, pneumatic diaphragm pumps, Pneumatic Piston Pumps and fluid handling solutions.

Location: East Region (Kolkata based preferred)

Responsibilities:

 

  • Drive sales growth for Milton Roy and ARO product portfolio in the East region.
  • Identify and develop new Channel Partners, OEMs, EPCs, consultants, and key accounts.
  • Generate enquiries & convert opportunities into orders through Channel Network.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Build strong relationships with existing channel partners and improve partner productivity.
  • Conduct regular partner visits, joint customer calls, and business reviews.
  • Support channel partners in technical discussions, product selection, and commercial negotiations.
  • Ensure effective distributor inventory management and forecasting.

Channel Management

  • Build strong relationships with existing channel partners and improve partner productivity.

Customer Engagement

  • Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable pumping and fluid handling solutions.
  • Provide techno-commercial support to customers and channel partners.
  • Handle customer complaints and coordinate with service teams for timely resolution.
  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training programs.

Market Intelligence

  • Track competitor activities, pricing trends, and market developments.
  • Identify new applications and emerging industries for business expansion.
  • Share market feedback and customer insights with management

Reporting & Coordination

  • Maintain sales pipeline, MIS reports, forecasts, and CRM updates.
  • Coordinate with internal cross functional teams including application engineering, customer Experience (CX), and finance for smooth order execution.
  • Participate in exhibitions, seminars, and promotional activities in the region.

 

Basic Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical / Chemical / Instrumentation or related discipline).
  •  5–10 years of experience in industrial product sales/channel sales.
  • Experience in pumps, dosing systems, pneumatic pumps, fluid handling equipment, or process industry products preferred.
  • Exposure to industries such as Water & Wastewater, Chemical, Pharma, Food & Beverage, Oil & Gas, Power, Steel, or General Industry preferred.

 

Key competencies:

  • Strong channel management and business development skills.
  • Good techno-commercial understanding.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and travel extensively within the region.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.

Travel Requirement
