Company started it’s business in year 1980 as a small proprietary venture to design, develop, manufacture & market these pumps starting with small, low cost, general purpose gear pumps as a standard product readily available though network of dealers. The company followed brick & mortar economy with consistence commitment to produce quality embedded product. Company also addressed the typical pumping problem peculiar while handling viscous liquid and also offered free guidance in selective, installing & using such pumps to ensure constant growth of the company and expand into OE & Project business.

 

Job Summary

The Business Development Manager shall report to the Business Development lead and will be responsible for coordinating all Marketing and product Management activities for Del Pd in India.

 

Responsibilities

  • Marketing - Create a pull towards IR products and brand with the customers and stakeholders through physical (Exhibitions, customer meets etc.,) and digital marketing activities. Identify and create sales collaterals like brochures, presentations, flyers etc., for marketing and sales of both new and existing products.
  • Product Management – Ensure that MRI products are kept current in the market both in terms of technology and value through i2V, NPD and rebranding activities to ensure better price realization and margins for the company. Identify and present new product / technology opportunities that can complement the existing products / applications.
  • Application DevelopmentPerform application studies to develop new OEMs and end users in water, Chemical, Mineral processing oil & gas and F&B markets. Identify and get approvals from consultants and licensors (in case of technology providers).

 

  • Business Development - Hand hold, own and drive the new product booking numbers post product launch with the commercial team.

 

  • Analysis – Track and maintain analytics and reports for products, sales, Gross Margins and competition in assigned brands and markets. Provide feedback on Channel effectiveness and improvement methods to realize organizational goals.

 

  • Knowledge & Training – Create presentations and conduct product trainings to both Channel and direct sales personnel. Create value based selling templates like total cost of ownership, street fighters against competition and provide intelligence to the direct and channel team.

Useful skills preferred – MS Project, MS tools, JDE, SAP, good process knowledge/ domain knowledge in water / chemical / Mineral processing / F&B / Pharma, Python – BI/Data Analytics

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or related technical field required

5 – 10 years of professional experience.
