Job Summary

The Commercial Business Director will be responsible for leading the Compression Systems and Services business in the Middle East. Brand responsibility will consist of the compare, Champion and Ingersoll Rand brands. The Commercial/Business Director will collaborate with cross-functional peers to build and lead teams to sell our products within the region. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of business sales growth in various life cycles within the compressor industries. The role will include extensive travel to customers, distributors and group companies within the Middle East.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Management of the Sales and Service Team
  • Setting and implementing the vision for the sales and service organization defining growth strategies for new and existing products.
  • Producing the sales plan, meeting its revenue and profitability targets
  • Supporting and developing the IR MLB plan for CSS
  • Collaboration with Product Management and Engineering team to promote product innovation and continuous development within the business line.
  • Focus on international expansion and regional diversification
  • Seek potential targets for merger and acquisition, support the VP of M&A to create internal business case and ensure the successful integration of any acquisitions
  • Establishing regional sales channels through existing and new customer partner networks and ensuring the we are optimizing our multi-channel network to deliver maximum impact and business efficiencies
  • Developing and implementing scalable and efficient strategies to deliver exponential growth
  • Attracting, retaining and developing world-class talent
  • Cultivating a high-performing, engaged, ownership-mindset and agile team culture
  • Aligning resources within the Business Line and across ITS and IR to achieve key business goals
  • Managing competition and threats in the marketplace, with constant evaluation of the structure, strategy and objectives
  • Reporting updates to leadership and key peers, including MBR and Financial forecasts
  • Building effective, strategic partnerships and collaborative relationships internally and externally

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • +10 years of sales and marketing leadership experience in an established industrial manufacturer;
  • Experience in managing multiple corporate stakeholders

  • Proven excellent communication skills – The ability to develop and deliver complex technical subjects in simple, understandable and clear language.  Strong influencing and listening skills with the ability to exchange information in multi modes to meet the needs of different audiences at all levels within the organization
  • Operating with a sense of ownership, urgency and leadership
