Job Overview:

This position will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and ensuring the optimal performance of Ingersoll Rand product portfolio in Industrial power tools and lifting equipment used in various industries like manufacturing, maintenance, automotive, transportation etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and calibrate power tools and lifting equipment at customer sites.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards during installation.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software faults.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce downtime.
  • Perform inspections and certifications for lifting equipment.
  • Maintain records of safety checks and compliance audits.
  • Provide on-site and remote troubleshooting assistance.
  • Guide customers on proper usage, maintenance, and safety practices.
  • Handle warranty claims and escalate complex issues to technical teams.
  • Maintain detailed service logs, inspection reports, and repair histories.
  • Document customer feedback and recurring issues for product improvement.
  • Train customers and junior technicians in equipment handling and maintenance.
  • Stay updated with new technologies, tools, and service protocols.
  • Visit customer sites for scheduled maintenance, emergency repairs, and audits.
  • Work in varied environments including construction sites, factories, and warehouses.
  • Revenue delivery and payment collections
  • Execution of Service agreements.
  • Maintain and update product installation base in the region

 

Requirements:

  • Diploma, B.Tech./BE or equivalent degree in Mechatronics /Electrical Engineering
  • 5-7 years’ experience in Industrial Power Tools and Lifting domain.
