Job Summary
Serve as the single point of contact and trusted partner for business data, reporting, analytics and decision support across Ingersoll Rand India’s Compressor Division. The role will integrate internal performance data with customer, channel, installed base, market, competition and macroeconomic intelligence to provide one reliable view of the business and convert insights into measurable action.
Job Responsibilities
• Business performance & executive reporting: Own standardized dashboards, scorecards and business-review packs covering orders, revenue, backlog, pipeline, price, margin, working capital, inventory, delivery, service and key operational KPIs.
• Commercial & growth analytics: Analyze performance by customer, region, channel, industry, product and salesperson. Strengthening pipeline governance, conversion, win-loss insights, territory productivity, pricing discipline and forecast accuracy.
• Service, aftermarket & installed base: Develop visibility of equipment installed base, contract coverage, parts potential, warranty conversion, renewal, churn, replacement cycles and customer lifetime value to identify the next best opportunity.
• Market & competitive intelligence: Track competitor activity, imports, sector investments, customer projects, industrial corridors and macroeconomic indicators. Translate external developments into zone-wise and industry-wise growth actions.
• Product, pricing & profitability: Provide price-volume-mix, discount, margin-leakage, product profitability and portfolio insights to support pricing, localization, launches and resource allocation.
• Operations & supply chain analytics: Connect demand forecasts with production, procurement and inventory. Identify delivery, capacity, material, supplier, quality and working-capital risks through exception-based reporting.
• Data governance & quality: Maintain KPI definitions, data ownership, validation rules and reporting calendars. Reconcile information across ERP, CRM, finance, service and operating systems and eliminate conflicting reports.
• Automation, AI & self-service: Automate recurring workflows and develop secure, intuitive solutions using Power BI, SQL, Python, Power Query, Power Automate and approved AI tools. Ensure outputs are traceable, validated and responsibly used.
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
• Business analytics, BI, commercial excellence, management reporting or decision support.
• Experience in compressors, industrial equipment, capital goods, manufacturing, industrial services or B2B environments preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science, analytics, finance or a related discipline.

• RELIABILITY: Critical KPIs have approved definitions and owners; high reconciliation accuracy; fewer conflicting reports and aged data issues.
• EFFICIENCY: On-time reporting; automation of recurring outputs; significant reduction in manual preparation and duplicated reports.
• ADOPTION: Leadership and functions consistently use standardized dashboards; strong active-user levels and stakeholder satisfaction.
• BUSINESS IMPACT: Better forecast accuracy, pipeline conversion and pricing visibility; quantified service, margin, inventory or working-capital opportunities realized.
• CAPABILITY: Higher self-service adoption, improved source-data ownership and fewer routine manual data requests.
