Experience: 6 - 8 years of relevant experience in Pricing, Sales Enablement, Finance or Commercial Excellence.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst to join IR Global Pricing team who will support and scale Pricing excellence initiatives, especially around Improving Pricing maturity, Price measurement & reporting, SAP pricing data maintenance, Transfer Pricing, Aligning acquisitions on Global Pricing standard work among others. This role will work closely with Global Pricing and partner with regional Pricing teams, Finance, product management, Tax, Acquired Business Units, and Data/BI teams to ensure accurate, compliant, and scalable pricing solutions.
The role combines analytical depth, cross‑functional collaboration, and execution ownership, with exposure to global stakeholders and senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
1. India Commercial Pricing Excellence and Pricing Data Maintenance (50%)
- Execute commercial pricing strategies in partnership with P&Ls, Sales, Sales Enablement and Product Management.
- Drive actions that enable the business to achieve Price AOP and deliver predictable price realization.
- Provide analytical insights, Monitor and report pricing performance, highlighting trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Identify price leakage, execution gaps, and areas needing intervention across products and regions.
- Track and manage action plans with cross‑functional teams to ensure timely closure and measurable impact.
- Create and own India local price lists for defined business units, create / update and execute price adjustments with Sales / Finance.
- Lead discount / concession and pricing reviews, analyze deal economics and support local P&Ls to meet AOP plan.
- Maintain pricing in SAP, load / update condition records, list prices, discounts and validate customer and product master data.
2. Intercompany Transfer Pricing Support (20%)
- Support the execution and governance of global Transfer Pricing processes in alignment with corporate policies and tax guidelines.
- Assist in identifying, reviewing, and resolving transfer pricing exceptions and discrepancies, ensuring issues are addressed through standardized processes.
- Analyze pricing data across regions to identify margin impacts, inconsistencies, and optimization opportunities.
- Prepare recurring and ad‑hoc TP reports, dashboards, and analytical insights to support decision‑making.
- Document processes, assumptions, and methodologies to strengthen auditability and scalability.
3. Acquisitions Onboarding - Pricing Standard Work (20%)
- Support the onboarding of acquired entities into the company’s pricing and analytics ecosystem (QlikSense) and onboarding Pricing standard work.
- Coordinate with BU stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate weekly/monthly data uploads.
- Support discussions and execution related to automation of data flows from BU (business unit) ERP systems into QlikSense.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and issue tracking during onboarding phases.
- Help drive adoption and confidence in reporting by explaining results and addressing BU questions.
4. Analytics, Reporting & Continuous Improvement (10%)
- Build and maintain QlikSense dashboards and reports supporting multiple projects not limited to transfer pricing and acquisition measurement.
- Perform variance analysis, trend analysis, end-end margin analyses, and root‑cause investigations on pricing and margin movements.
- Provide concessions visibility for targeted BUs via concession reporting and discount control initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort, improve data accuracy, and standardize reporting processes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aligned with delivery targets and analytics maturity goals.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Must‑Have
- 6 - 8 years of experience in Pricing Analytics, Sales Enablement, Data Analysis, Commercial Pricing Support or Finance.
- Strong excel and analytical skills with hands‑on experience working with large datasets and Pricing or financial metrics.
- Experience working with CRMs, ERPs, BI / analytics tools such as QlikSense, Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent. Hands on experience of loading and maintaining data directly in SAP.
- Understanding of concepts like price lists, discounts, price waterfall, concessions, transfer pricing and margin analysis. Must have experience of price list creation, supporting price adjustments, discounting / concession reviews, etc.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a cross‑functional, global environment
