Job Overview
The Customer Support Executive – Sales is responsible for providing end‑to‑end customer support across the sales lifecycle, from order processing and coordination to customer communication and issue resolution. The role works closely with sales, service, planning, and logistics teams to ensure high customer satisfaction, timely order fulfillment, and effective sales support.
Key Responsibilities
- Support sales teams with order processing, documentation, and customer communications
- Act as a primary point of contact for customers for order status, deliveries, and basic commercial queries
- Coordinate with planning, production, stores, and logistics teams to ensure timely order execution
- Prepare and maintain sales-related documents including quotations, order acknowledgements, and delivery updates
- Update and track customer orders, enquiries, and interactions in ERP/CRM systems
- Handle customer complaints, service requests, and escalation in coordination with internal teams
- Support sales forecasting, reporting, and MIS preparation
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of sales and order documentation for audit and compliance purposes
- Support follow-ups on payments, dispatches, and pending customer actions
- Contribute to continuous improvement of customer support and sales processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or related discipline
- 2–5 years of experience in customer support, sales coordination, or order management roles
- Good understanding of sales processes, order management, and customer coordination
- Hands-on experience with ERP/CRM systems and MS Office applications
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
