Job Summary

The Senior Design Engineer will be responsible for developing engineering designs, developing techno‑commercial proposals, and generating accurate costing for aeration systems and related equipment. The role requires strong analytical skills, understanding of wastewater processes, and the ability to collaborate closely with the design, sales, and engineering teams to prepare competitive and optimized proposals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering designs and technical layouts for aeration and wastewater treatment systems.
• Develop detailed technical and commercial proposals including system sizing, design calculations, and equipment selection.
• Prepare costing sheets, BOQs, and accurate price estimations based on project requirements.
• Review tender documents, specifications, and client requirements to ensure compliance.
• Coordinate with internal engineering teams, vendors, and sales for technical clarifications.
• Support sales teams with design‑based queries and participate in client discussions when required.
• Ensure all proposals meet company standards, industry guidelines, and technical best practices.
• Maintain documentation, proposal databases, and revision histories for all submissions.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Environmental, Chemical, or Civil Engineering.
• 3–6 years of experience in wastewater treatment design, proposals, or process engineering.
• Strong understanding of wastewater treatment processes (ASP, MBBR, SBR, MBR preferred).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Inventor, etc. and engineering calculation tools.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to interpret tender drawings, specifications, and process flow diagrams.

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

• Primarily office‑based role in Hyderabad.
• Occasional travel to customer sites, project sites, or vendor facilities (as required).
