NASH is one of the Business Division of Ingersoll Rand with the products ranges of Liquid ring vacuum pumps (LRVP’s), Liquid ring compressors, Standard LRVP packages, Engineered vacuum & compressor systems and Hybrid Vacuum Systems (i.e., LRVP’s with 1st stage(s) of ejectors or blowers).

 

Job Summary

The Sales Manager – West is responsible for driving profitable growth of NASH product portfolios in the West Region. This includes business development, key account management, channel partner enablement, opportunity pipeline creation, and achieving annual sales and margin targets.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Business Development

  • Drive sales of NASH products in West region, ensuring achievement of order intake, revenue, and margin goals.
  • Identify new business opportunities in core industries such as Chemicals, Petrochemicals, Oil & Gas, Steel, Power, Pharmaceuticals, and Textiles.
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with overall business goals.
  • Proactively generate, qualify, and convert leads into long-term business.

2. Key Account Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic customers in the region.
  • Understand customer processes and applications to provide optimized solutions.
  • Conduct regular customer visits, technical presentations, and value‑selling discussions.
  • Manage negotiations and closure of large value opportunities.

3. Channel & Partner Development

  • Manage and support sales channel partners and distributors.
  • Provide training on NASH technologies, applications, and commercial positioning.
  • Track partner performance and drive accountability.

4. Technical & Commercial Competence

  • Provide application support and selection of LRVP and LRC systems.
  • Coordinate with proposal, engineering, and execution teams for timely customer support

5. Market Intelligence & Strategy

  • Conduct competitor analysis, pricing assessments, and market surveys.
  • Provide insights on industry trends and emerging applications.

6. Internal Collaboration

  • Work closely with Business Line Manager on forecasts and opportunity pipelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

 

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical / chemical / industrial engineering
  • 8–12 years of technical sales experience in industrial capital Rotary equipment(s)
  • Strong understanding of process industries and rotating equipment.
  • Proven track record in West India sales.
  • Experience managing EPCs, consultants, and OEMs.

 

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong technical aptitude and solution‑selling capability.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • High ownership, result‑oriented mindset, and customer focus.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.
